Patric Swayze is among the most famous and beloved dying celebrities. Swayze has stage-4 pancreatic cancer and does not have much longer to live.

He is in the process of writing his memoirs with his wife, Ms. Lisa Niemi. The couple is working on the book with their two dogs at their sides on a ranch in New Mexico.

The memoir is slated to be published this fall by Atria Books. Swayze tells reporters that his wife and his two dogs have been a great comfort to him during this trying time.

Swayze and his wife have two dogs: a poodle named Lucas and a Rhodesian Ridgeback, Kumasai. The two dogs are pictured with the Swayzes above.
